Radiators, Valves & Thermostats

Radiators generally have one or two panels, although 3-panel types are sometimes found. Modern single

Wireless thermostats provide temperature control, by sensing the air temperature, and switching the heating when the air temperature falls below the thermostat setting. From modern, energy efficient digital models to a simple dial operated control, Honeywell has the solution to your needs. Wireless controls are the modern way of incorporating controls into a heating system, removing the need for additional wiring, and the need to take up floorboards or making good.

Thermostatic radiator valves

TRVs reduce the flow of water through the radiator they are fitted to when the temperature goes above a certain setting. Set them to the level you want for the room: a lower setting uses less energy and so will save you money.
Electronic TRVs are becoming available which use electronic temperature sensing, and frequently contain programmers so that individual radiators may be programmed for different temperatures at different times of the day. Such increased control allows even better energy and CO2 saving.
